Congregational News and Notes

Welcome to worship on this Lord’s Day.  Today we celebrate God’s grace in the lives of Rylee Gorter, Elizabeth Scholten and Shawnie Veldhuizen as they profess and reaffirm their faith in Jesus.  We also commission our members going on SERVE this week.  This morning we continue our series on the signs in the Gospel of John.  This evening we consider one of the “hard sayings” of Christ.

Please pray for safe travels and open hearts to serve in this week as we prepare to go to SERVE at Thunder Bay, Ontario.  We will be leaving Friday morning and returning the following Saturday evening.  Rylee Gorter, Mikayla Johnson, Calissa Lubben (Leota) Emily Scholten , Mariah Zeinstra,  Isacc Centellas, JT Tinklenberg, and Brooke Van Essen will be helping in many different ways in Thunder Bay, Ontario.  This is only possible because of your support!  Thank you then and thank you now for your prayers.

Happy Birthday to Dick Van Hofwegen on his 89th Wednesday.

Pastor Tim will be gone July 18-24.  If a need arises please contact an elder or deacon.  Next Sunday we hope to have Rev. Duane Tinklenberg in AM and Rev. Stephen Wynja in PM.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit,

but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

Each of you should look not only to your own interests,

but also to the interest of others.
